1. No Personal Information Required

You do not need to register, create an account, or share personal details (such as your name, email, or physical address) to use our tracking service. We do not collect or store any personal data associated with your tracking searches.

2. Local Cookies and Search History

To make our service easier to use, we store a secure, local cookie (`recent_trackings`) on your browser. This cookie only keeps the last 5 tracking numbers you searched, letting you check updates quickly next time. This data is saved entirely on your local device and is never sent to our database or shared with third parties.

3. IP Address and Security Logs

Our servers temporarily log your IP address when you submit a tracking request. This is done exclusively to support our sliding window rate-limiting middleware (limiting requests to 10 per minute per IP) to prevent bot spam, DDoS attacks, and API abuse. These security logs are automatically deleted and are never linked to personal profiles.

4. Third-Party Carrier Queries

When you request tracking data, our server forwards the tracking number to the appropriate courier API or scraping service. We do not share your IP address, browser headers, or location data with these third-party carriers. They only receive the tracking number necessary to retrieve the parcel's status.
