Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions about package tracking? We have put together answers to the queries our users ask most frequently.
Our platform aggregates and formats tracking information dynamically by querying carrier APIs and public tracking networks. When you enter a tracking number, our system identifies the correct courier and builds a unified, chronological timeline of your package's transit history.
We offer global package tracking. While our primary optimization lies in tracking packages destined for the United States or traveling through adjacent territories like Canada, Mexico, and Central America, our system supports over 1,000 international carriers. If a carrier handles your shipment, chances are we can track it.
No, TrackPkgs is completely free. We do not require users to create an account, purchase subscriptions, or enter credit card information to track their shipments.
Tracking updates occur when a parcel is physically scanned at transit hubs, sorting facilities, or customs checkpoints. If your package is moving between countries (for example, from Asia or Europe to the United States), there can be a gap of several days where no new scans are registered. Rest assured, your package is typically in transit during these intervals.
Because TrackPkgs is an independent search tool and not a logistics provider, we do not physically handle, sort, or deliver packages. If your shipment is delayed, lost, or incorrectly marked as delivered, you must contact the carrier (such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx) or the merchant you purchased the item from directly.
